Crock Pot Chili

Good evening!

Tonight I have a lovely homemade chili recipe! It’s warm and has just enough spice to get your taste buds going!

Ingredients
1 1/2 ground meatloaf mix (beef, veal, pork mix)
1 medium onion chopped
1 can fire roasted tomatoes
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
salt
1 TBSP roasted ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ancho chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Olive oil

Cooking instructions
Take your slow cooker and add rinsed beans, tomatoes, chopped onion and then set aside.

Take your pan out and add about a 1 1/2 TBSP of olive oil, add the meatloaf mix and the spices and cook on medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Once that is done you can pour the meat and spice mixture into the crock pot. Place the top on and cook on low for 8 hours.

Once that is done you can enjoy your chili! We love to top it with guacamole or avocado, diced fresh tomatoes and my husband and daughter love cheddar cheese and sour cream on theirs and a squeeze of lime juice always tastes wonderful in it as well! I also like to pair chili with a nice corn bread.
