Hello everyone, This morning I have for you a vegan “ice cream” recipe. I am currently dairy and soy free while I am breastfeeding. This ice cream is a banana base which makes up the cream part of it. what I love about this is you can make endless combinations and to me it does taste like ice cream especially when adding a little pure vanilla extract or vanilla almond milk. It’s also healthy and you can eat it without feeling guilty 🙂
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas cut into chunks and frozen over night
1 tablespoon of Silk vanilla almond milk
1 teaspoon creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup of chocolate chips ( Enjoy life brand )

Preparation
take the frozen bananas out and let sit for 10 mins then put the frozen bananas in the food processor and pulse until the bananas are a thick creamy base. Next add your peanut butter, and almond milk and pulse again until everything is mixed together well. Put the nice cream in a freezer safe bowl and then fold in the chocolate chips. cover and freeze for 4 hours or over night, if you freeze it over night make sure to let it sit out for a little bit to get soft. Enjoy
